Q: How do I make a windscreen claim?

A: Windscreen cover is included in most Comprehensive policies and excluded from most third party fire and theft policies. You need to call your approved repairer to arrange a repair or replacement of your windscreen. Check your policy booklet or key facts for the name and number of your approved repairer. Alternatively call our business development team on 0844 573 2380 to obtain this information.

Please note, there may be an excess to pay.

Q: Am I insured to drive someone else's car?

A: In some cases you may be covered under your policy to drive someone else's car. The cover is Third Party only and doesn't apply to any cars you own or lease yourself. To see if you have this cover, please check your Certificate of Motor Insurance.

Q: Is my car covered for someone else to drive?

A: Only if they are named on your Certificate of Motor Insurance. It may be possible to add another driver to your policy permanently or temporarily by calling our business development team on 0844 573 2380 or click on the email link

Q: How do I make changes to my policy?

Q: What if my circumstances change during the year?

Q: Will you cover a car I'm using temporarily?

A: We may be able to insure a car for you temporarily. This vehicle must have no alternative cover in force. If the vehicle is a courtesy vehicle from a garage, please check with the garage to see if they will cover your first � this will usually be the cheapest option available to you.

Please note, there will be a charge for putting a temporary car on your policy.

Q: What do I need to tax my car?

A: You will need your Certificate of Motor Insurance, Post Office tax form, V5 document (Logbook) and MOT Certificate.

Q: How do I get a replacement certificate?

A: If you lose your Certificate of Motor Insurance you can request a duplicate by completing this email form or give us a call on 0870 787 2363 and we'll sort one out for you.

Please note, there may be a charge made by your insurers for a duplicate certificate

Q: How do I cancel my policy?

A: To cancel your policy, please call us on 0844 573 2380. You must return your certificate and signed covering letter to the following address before we can cancel your policy: DNA Insurance Services Ltd, Unit H, Chesham Close, Romford, Essex, RM7 7PJ

Please note, no refunds will be due if you have been involved in any claim or are on a classic car scheme. Breakdown and Claims management fees if applicable are non refundable.
